Welcome to Briglighting. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of briglighting.com and your purchase of products from BRIGLIGHTING LLC. By visiting, using, or purchasing through this website, you agree to these Terms and the policies referenced below.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence to use this website or make a purchase. You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete account, billing, payment, and shipping information and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS AND PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, images, colors, materials, dimensions, specifications, and prices accurately. Screen settings, natural material variations, handcrafted production, photography, and reasonable manufacturing tolerances may cause minor differences in color, veining, texture, finish, or dimensions.

Please review all product specifications, dimensions, electrical requirements, mounting conditions, and installation requirements before ordering. Product availability and specifications may change.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS AND CANCELLATIONS

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted when Briglighting confirms the order and payment has been successfully processed.

We may cancel or correct an order when there is a clear pricing error, stock discrepancy, payment issue, unsupported shipping address, suspected fraud, or another legitimate order-processing problem. When possible, we will contact you using the information provided during checkout.

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if processing, production, customization, or shipment preparation has not started.

After 24 hours, or after an order has entered processing, production, customization, or shipment preparation, cancellation or modification may no longer be possible.

Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and must follow our Refund Policy.

SECTION 4 – PRICES, PAYMENT, AND TAXES

Prices and promotions may change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed when the order is submitted, subject to correction of clear errors.

Applicable sales taxes are calculated during checkout. Free standard shipping applies to eligible orders within the 48 contiguous United States as described in our Shipping Policy.

You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Standard orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation. After shipment, standard delivery generally takes approximately 7–15 business days.

Custom, oversized, modified, or made-to-order products may require additional production time. All processing and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Briglighting will assist customers with meaningful delays, confirmed lost shipments, and verified transit damage.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, responding to carrier communications, scheduling required delivery appointments, and inspecting the order promptly after delivery.

SECTION 6 – DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If a product arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or different from the item ordered, contact info@briglighting.com within 7 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date.

Please keep the original product, components, and packaging while the claim is being reviewed. Do not install, repair, discard, or modify the affected product before receiving instructions from Briglighting.

After review and approval, Briglighting will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement parts, a replacement fixture, an approved return at our expense, a refund, or another appropriate solution.

SECTION 7 – RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Eligible unused and uninstalled products may be returned within 30 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date, subject to our Refund Policy.

Do not return any product without contacting us first. After a return request has been reviewed and approved, we will provide the authorized return address and instructions.

Custom-made, modified, made-to-order, or personalized products are not eligible for return or cancellation after production has started.

SECTION 8 – INSTALLATION AND PRODUCT USE

For safety, hardwired lighting fixtures should be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with local electrical codes, building requirements, and the installation instructions supplied with the product.

Customers are responsible for confirming structural support, fixture weight, voltage, bulb and dimmer compatibility, junction box requirements, clearances, and installation conditions.

Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect assembly, unauthorized modification, unsuitable support, incorrect voltage, incompatible components, or failure to follow instructions is not considered a product defect.

SECTION 9 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website, Briglighting name, logos, text, graphics, original product descriptions, layout, and other content owned by or licensed to BRIGLIGHTING LLC are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, published, displayed, or commercially exploited without written permission, except as permitted by law.

Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

SECTION 10 – OPTIONAL TOOLS AND THIRD-PARTY LINKS

The website may provide access to tools, integrations, or links operated by third parties. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Briglighting is not responsible for the independent content, security, or practices of third-party services.

SECTION 11 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

This store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to offer our products and services. Purchases made through this store are transactions between the customer and BRIGLIGHTING LLC. Shopify is not the seller of Briglighting products.

SECTION 12 – PRIVACY

Personal information collected through the website is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Shopify may also process certain personal information as described in Shopify’s privacy notices.

SECTION 13 – CUSTOMER CONTENT AND FEEDBACK

If you submit reviews, photos, comments, suggestions, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

You grant Briglighting a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use submitted reviews and feedback for operating, improving, and promoting the business, subject to applicable privacy law.

SECTION 14 – ERRORS AND UPDATES

Information on the website may occasionally contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, prices, promotions, availability, shipping charges, or transit times. We may correct clear errors and update information when reasonably necessary.

SECTION 15 – PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, malicious, or disruptive activity. You may not introduce malware, interfere with website security, collect personal information without authorization, impersonate another person, or use automated systems in a manner that damages or overloads the website.

SECTION 16 – TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access when a user violates these Terms, threatens website security, engages in fraud, or uses the services unlawfully. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

SECTION 17 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Any express product warranty separately stated on a product page or warranty policy will be governed by its stated terms.

SECTION 18 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Briglighting will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses arising from use of the website or improper use or installation of products.

This limitation does not exclude responsibility that cannot legally be excluded and does not override the remedies stated in our Refund Policy or Shipping Policy for approved returns, confirmed transit loss, verified transit damage, defective products, or incorrect items.

SECTION 19 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold BRIGLIGHTING LLC harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person’s rights, to the extent permitted by law.

SECTION 20 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

SECTION 21 – WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms and the policies referenced herein constitute the agreement governing use of the website and purchases from Briglighting, except where additional written terms apply to a specific product or service.

SECTION 22 – ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. Briglighting may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.

SECTION 23 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

SECTION 24 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect operational, legal, or regulatory changes. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
